Annoyed? It's your Energy

Lately things have been flowing very well but I was hit with a low frequency that I do not enjoy. I have a new job starting next week and I'd prefer to blog full-time instead. This combined with many other factors puts in me a sour mood from time to time. When I'm around others who either slave away at work or professionally waste away, it reminds me of my situation and makes me even more annoyed. I'm fully aware that everything I see is only a reflection
of myself, which isn't soothing.
So, I see others watch TV all day, discuss nonsense and I'm reminded that we're on similar frequencies, yuck.
Since I'm on the path to recreating my belief system I decided to flip this script and respond differently, which is the test.
1. Instead of getting mad at them for living that way - I choose to respect and honor their choice as that is what they are doing on their respective path.
2. Instead of running away and wasting my resources so that I'm not around them - Breathe. I choose to reevaluate my belief system and improve from within so that my life will ultimaty reflect my choice.
3. Instead of binge eating my problems - Blog about it and be grateful for what I do have and enjoy.

In the comments below please share your experiences in a sour mood and what you do get out of it.

Spriritual Share: February 2014

It's the middle of February already, where'd time go? For the past few weeks I've been following the lectures of Bashar, a guide who is channeled for assiting others on their spiritual journeys.
I was introduced to his work via my husband and we now watch at least two videos daily.

The following is a favorite of mine that really gets to the nitty gritty of why I have this blog:

How-To: The C:C Ratio Part I

It's one week before a major exam or project is due, where are you? Chilling because you're almost done or, you know, watching movies on Netflix because you have 'time', hmm...
Like any good American, I grew up consuming: food, information, shopping(and my date's dinner budget) with the excuse that I'm getting inspired. Thing is, this is great, only after one creates. Yeah, shocker.
I recall a few years ago someone sharing this wisdom as he's a musician and was accustomed to creating his own albums and reaping the benefits. Admittedly, this was new to me as I was raised believing that a college degree and day job would afford me whatever I desired. Perhaps this is the reason why average people are envious and confused by the idea of residual income.
For the past few months I've been floating through my life, drowning in TV, junk food and complaining, wondering why I can't seem to get a break. Recently, I caught the following video that hit home( and upside my head).

In the video, in plain English, Marie breaks down a Law of Attraction, aka common sense of the C:C Ratio. You see, if you're just reading and wishing, you'll never bring your desire down to the physical realm.

*Change it with a new habit:
Upon waking up, be grateful and journal your day's intention and how you'd like to make a difference.

In this one step, you took command of your day and told the Universe how you'd like for it to unfold.

Now, using the above tip, how would your life improve:
Would your focus become clearer?
Could you take on new tasks?

I really want this new approach to assist you in designing the lifestyle you desire. Please, in the comments below share how you've implemented this tip and the results you've gotten.

Simple(DUH!) Time Savers

I've wasted enough time this year so here it is:
  • Buy "It" books on usual topics (Finance, history, health, etc) instead of browsing blogs and googling individual questions all day.
  • Automate your finances a lá Ramit Sethi's book with monthly preview and reviews instead of spending an hour every Sunday.
  • Plan hanging out with friends around running errands."Going by the mall" got old real quick, so I only go shopping when buying something specific with a fun friend (bonus points if she has great style). I get what I need(errand) and catch up with a friend(hang out). The same works when grocery shopping with a health conscious friend or visiting Barnes & Noble with a smart, open-minded pal.
  • Decide what you want with a practical budget. I used to waste a lot of my time at the mall and everytime I'd enter a store I would be asked "Are you looking for anything specific" to which I'd respond with "No, just browsing"; no wonder they'd look so annoyed! Before I leave home, I have and a master plan to get it done.
